Never laid your hands on the famed notebook known as the moleskine? Or looking to add another to your collection?
Here’s a great chance to win one, courtesy of Pinoycentric.com. All you’ve got to do is join their newly-launched weekly “Ika Nga” Cartoon Caption Contest. For one well thought out blurb of text, you get a moleskine — sounds like a sweet deal to me.

Pinoycentric is awesome. It should start its own blog network. [/sarcasm]

Looks nice, but I prefer digital notes nowadays. Besides why is it named Moleskin? Is it mode out of a skin of a mole? I don’t get it.

Ia, I agree. Armand Frasco has definitely made a fine job with the site
Xigre, I also use digital notes for short scribbles, but for longer creative writing works, I turn to the moleskine. I’m not too sure about the origins; the early notebooks might have been made with actual mole skin, but I believe they use oilcloth nowadays.
