A Christmas Wishlist
I’ll be out the whole day (and possibly tomorrow, Christmas day), so I’ll take this opportunity to greet the blogosphere and the few chaps who find the time to drop by this blog — have a Merry Christmas! For the believers, don’t forget the true essence of this day, that is, the birth of Jesus Christ.
As for the nonbelievers, well, let’s proceed to the slightly materialistic subject of this post — my personal Xmas (and New Year’s) wishlist. Without further ado:
- MacBook Pro
- Red iPod Nano
- Successful launch of 3 more sites of mine
- More aircraft models
- A return trip to my home sweet home, Aklan and Boracay
- A very productive year with my new moleskine
- More literary publications and, hopefully, the breakthrough
- That she obtains at least one of her wished-for items
…and most importantly…
- A safe and prosperous new year for my family, loved ones, and friends (not to mention pets!)
Of course, I’ll be the first to admit that most of the items on this list are selfish desires, centered on my personal happiness. But since this is the first time I’m posting such a wishlist, cut me some slack, okay? Hehe.
By the way, this post was inspired by friend and colleague J. Angelo’s entry. I’ll be posting my “What has 2006 given you?” entry on or near December 29 (which marks my completion of 2 years of blogging) under a different guise — “What writing has bought me”. (I’ve been planning to do that post for a long time already.)
Again, have a merry Christmas, everybody!

Eek. The wishlist meme. One of my wishes came true—I need to cross out the Fuji FinePix F-30 now that I have a new camera.
Hey, I want to turn that pic into an e-greeting card. Nothing too fancy, just because it’s a great pic. ^_^
Now that I think about it, it’s been a loooooooong year.

I can give you the full high-res version of the pic
I’m glad I was able to capture 1 great pic! All the others were duds, hehe.
It has been a long, long year, and it’s quite sad to see it passing by..it just makes me realize I’ll be 30,40,50 years old in a blink of an eye!

well, our needs grow bigger as we grow up, so i think wishing isn’t such a bad thing. and besides, your list looks more like an expectation for the upcoming year.
belated merry christmas to you as well! sorry for the late greeting.

M. Bacarra, thanks for the greeting!
Hm..expectations? Maybe some these are, but certainly not the Macbook, the iPod, and the literary breakthrough, among others, hehe!
Benedict, manigong bagong taon din sa iyo!. Sure, once I have enough spare funds, I’ll approach you first for the iPod and other goodies. Again, thanks for the free moleskine diary
